WHEN PASSION AWAKES
Age is no bar for anyone to realize his or her passion and put more efforts to it. Arti Agrawal is a housewife and has immense love for cooking. God has gifted her with this talent and she had been impressing people with it since childhood. Though she enjoyed trying new cuisines but never really thought of taking it to next level until she realized that her recipes are better than what most of cookery programs show. After nearly 20 years of marriage, she took her first cookery class. With her inborn talent and love for food, she has taken many classes and workshops of different cuisines. After the great response, the lady has entrepreneurial ideas in mind and might come up with her own food joint!
“I had loved cooking since childhood. I made my first proper dish in 5th grade, potatoes in tomato curry. I haven’t taken any classes in cooking but my only master was my mother, who herself is a great cook. I had been encouraged for my talent since my childhood. My mother in law too loved my cooking and always got me different ingredients so that we could cook something new every weekend. I’m grateful to her and my husband who has constantly praised my efforts and my passion never faded.
In all these years I haven’t really thought of making it a professional. For me, making my family happy with my food was my only motive. It was a couple of years back when I took my first cookery class. After a great response, I started taking more classes and workshops.
I have few ideas of taking classes on a commercial level but opening a food joint for youngsters is first thing on my mind.”
